Hi,
i'm considering a 2.9 12V turbo swap for my mustang II, just wondering how much torque a MT75 2WD can handle safely?(i know it depends on drivingstyle too) Any other way to match a T5 and 2.9 except the burton bellhousing?

I had a Mt75 that lasted 8000km with 550nm. The T5 gearbox is crap, the lokal cosworths have broken several of these

Would the MT75 handle the 2.9 turbo at about 13-14PSI? or should i be looking at american aftermarket T5's straight away purpose is drifting

Yes it would, that is around 550nm with that boost

Would like around 300bhp - 450nm the first time with a setup like the white sierra,just lower boost for extra reliability then turn the boost up when i can afford a stronger gearbox/rear axle
that sierra has the mt75 too right?any problems with it at that output
