| The pistons should work with just 0.75bar. I usually recomend 1bar as maximum on a stock engine. nice car by the way! | |

| If I understand the serial pistons resist to 1bar I know that 0.7 is not much, but still break pistons ... Perhaps through an earlier knock combustion (detonation burning) ? After this I do not have additional controls for ignition and fuel. The engine control computer from Sierra 2.0 IS. MAF adapted so as to be worth AFR 12-12,5-13. EGT does not exceed 900 degrees. | |

| Yes they manage 1bar if you have good AFR readings. I usually want 12.0-12.5. Often it´s needed to adjust the ignition somewhat, just turn the distribuator a little bit if you hear detonations | |

I did do this, but I had mounted manual boost control to raise the charge but then at 3000RPM at third gear was already 0.6 bar and detonation burning ... I resigned from MBC and I set charger only with westgate. Where do you buy the Cosworth piston rings? | |

Here's the project log, it's in norwegian but many pictures: http://www.fmcn.no/forum/index.php?showtopic=45978 I log on Turbonetics is a profesjonal turbo, very nice! I forgot about the brakes Front Brake Discs from Scorpio Cosworth 278mm Zimmermann Sport and brake terminals from Scorpio Cosworth Rear brakes is oryginal from Sierra with ABS + elektric braking pump. I add the computer with the installation to have the complete ABS
