| thierry how far are you with the build of the car? I saw your setup and I'm trying to build the same. are there more people here that are using a carbed setup? So far I only found 1 person in england and he hasn't got any pictures of his build.
I've had mine running for a short moment until I blew the turbo seal. I forgot to put an oil restrictor in the line and got 4,0 bar oil pressure through the turbo.
the setup I got is: 1600 pinto with a R5 gtt 32dis carb, renault 5 gtt (T25 i think) turbo, renault 5 gtt fuel pressure regulator, homemade (bodge) exhaust manifold and standard iginition.
At the moment I got fueling problems (cutting out in corners and having vapor lock) so I run my pinto without the turbo just on the 32dis carb until I have installed a surge tank.
hope to hear from you so whe can share some do's and dont's

| Thats because there is no adjustable oil pressure switch on any (?) saab. You don't need an adjustable one. You can take a oil pressure switch for the oil warning light from any car you have and then test which pressure it works on. You do that by some basic electrical work and using an compressor (one that you use to fill your tires with air) and of course an pressure gauge thats pretty correct and show the pressure ratings from 0-1bar in an very exact scale . Just mount the pressure switch and the gauge in an tube thats air tight and then fill it whit air from the compressor until the switch goes on. (measure whit an multimeter or something) But what i think you are after is the APC pressure switch thats come from old saab turbo cars. Eg saab 900 turbo. I don't know much more about that...
