I have converted my pinto to EFI and Turbo and am running a megasquirt 2 v3 ecu. I am looking for a good/safe starting point for my ignition timing. Currently I have this. I would be interested in what you think and seeing what other people are running.
Car will be run on 98octane unleaded.

ignition advance depends quite a lot what kind of heads you have and compression ratio.
More boost => less ignition advance. Low rpm drive area where there is no boos you normally have 30-40 degree advance. If you have too low advance you waste fuel and power. Too high you end up detonation.

Im have same problem, just dont know where to start from. Im using 2litre pinto Is turbo witch is stock. Vems ecu and saab red injectors. Right now my engine starts to detonate badly under load. It would be cool if someone post a picture of turbo pinto ign. table.
