Ralph - 2.9 ford sierra

hello! i'm ralph. i'm 21 i'm from Riga, Latvia. I own a 1990 ford sieera wagon. it's a little beat up daily driver. Now it's a 2.0 dohc, which is a awfull egine! (this current one, head gaskets are gone, 100km trip takes 8l of coolant and other awfull things happen all the time...

these were the summer wheels, but, whell...

i bought these ones for next summer, like them much better!  


i want them bright yellowish does anyone know how this collor is called? it's just neon yellow?

I have bought a BRD 2.9 12v scorpio engine, with all the wires, gearbox a.s.o. let's say a full swap kit.

It's just this will be my first swap and our club is closen..    so i will seek an advice here, hope you will help me guys!

Well the 2.9 engine for my Estate is not mounted yet so it has no engine or drivetrain in it for the moment.. So i guess you're one step ahead.

engine will go in next month, well i hope so. i will try to get it drivable because it's my daily and i dont anything else to drive!

Hi guys! finally got a garage. nothing much but will do!
So this week got the old engine out.


Ouh yes an i got leather door panels. which are nice!

Hi! Have done a little job recently, welded up the car, got a new rear frame with a non welded diff!
Cleaned up the front


all welded up and finished with polyurethane color.
the 20 yrs old rear frame i picked looks good as new!

ouh and the front seats are getting redone, which is awesome!

hi! so, finally the engine is IN!

but there is a problem with clutch. there should be a mount for the fork? (i dont know its called right in english), it just doesn't touch the clutch.


How does the orriginal distancer look like? plz help!

There should be a pin, where the clutch fork is just attached. As the clutch wire pulls the fork and releases the clutch.

The pin is only held there by friction. You punch in the pin with a hammer.

Front setup 5bolt scorpio hubs.

Speaking about the color, i havent decided yet but i was thinking about saving the red!
That's not a priority yet!
No coilovers, tbo i havent seen anything for less then 1.5 k euros and thats too much for me.

Got some scorpio parts for my sierra


larger swaybar, bigger brakes, front shocks.

Scorpio lower arms are a bit longer!

Took the scorpio shocks apart and well made them look like something!


Also the front thing (sry dont know how its cold in english) HUB?
The place where balljoint goes from steering rack is 2cm closer so i will get bigger steering angle!
Thats long story short!
