In short "Kryckan has had some problems with a noisy rod-bearing so we decided to do a engine swap. We were somewhat suprised to learn that the oilpan was a bit dented and there was a hole about the size of a small coin in it. When we loosened the bolts for the engine mounts a piece of the engine fell out, furthermore there was an assortment of engine parts inhabiting the bottom of the oilpan. Just check out the pictures and ponder."

what kind of sensor do you use on v6?

Original Hall Sensor in the distributor works fine

i got a turbo from a bus... its turbine diameter is about 75mm and hot side housing is bigger than your GT40. Is it too big for 2.9 and your map?

It´s a bit big but can work. The big problem is that such a big house and turbine it will be a bit slow spooled

Yes thats the problem, but the turbo will work thats certain but it can be necesery to adjust a bit if you want to use my Megasquirt map

Hello, I have a question. Do you buy your Megasquirt assambled or do you assamble them yourself? Is it worth trying to assamble the kit myself?
Going to use it for Pinto turbo with TFI.

If you know what you are doing it´s worth i guess. I buy mine fully assembled

One more question about mapping it. Is there an starting map that you could suggest for Pinto Turbo with TFI, 350cc injectors?

nice job mate! where is LPG inlet placed? before turbine or somewhere near throttle? i've never seen such a big LPG reducer still thinking and thinking about feeding turbocharged cologne with simple LPG installation and you proved it's possible have you made any changes with electronics on petrol [injectors, ECU etc.] any changes with ignition? some time ago i've replaced my 2,9 12v in sierra for a 2,9 24v. now i got 2,9 12v to use...i've bought for it 84' granada tournier...i'm going to put it there in couple of weeks. it can be too weak for granada so a turbo is a good idea
wastegate is built in turbine or it's external? have you measured charging pressure yet?

thanks for good word's
first we put the mixer before the turbine, but it was unstable many explosion hepen.
so i built a drow thru system with mixers on a throttle.
it works just fine. no changes with electronics need to be done just button to unconnect injectors.
first 2.4 engine 0.8 bar. second 2.9 1.2 bar but it wasn't the limit. spin easily it third gear.problems with clutch started.
don't sore why but I killed both engines. bolts that hold crankshaft and the piston rods together broke and smashed everything.

P.S. selling every thing a part, because will be moving to SWEDEN next month.

maybe turbine used to "stand up" too early [too big boost at too low rpms]
or maybe the AFR on LPG was too poor and it was knocking [but then pistons would melt i supose ]

another thing is that at about 1,2 bar you should have ca 300HP...i'm afraid that your LPG reducer isn't efficient enough to evaporate so much LPG. [i'm afraid there are not so many proper reducers]

once more is that it could be because of too big oil pressure drops because of turbine feeding? it looks like the connecting rod bearing was seized up?

the last one is that piston could be seized up, and because of it, the connecting rod has broken.
