Need help about Ms v3

it's funny but maybe someone can give me answer to ms questions 4, 5 and 6 about ignition
engine is ford sierra 2.9 12v BRD Very Happy

4. What type of ignition system does your car run- where is the crank
angle sensor (CAS) or distributor trigger wheel and what type is it
(Optical/LED Sensor? Hall Sensor? VR Sensor?)
5. How many teeth/windows/slots and what orientation does the CAS, crank
trigger, and/or distributor wheel have? (any missing? all evenly spaced?)
6. Is there a distributor? Single/Multiple Coils? Coil on Plug?

The single answer to all your questions is TFI. It´s the best thing to use on the 2.9 2v engine (you keep the stock distributor)

On the topic of megasquirt, I have been looking around. I want an affordable ECU and the new ones are to expensive for me at the moment.

what im thinking is that when you guys where doing v6 12v turbo's you used MS1 correct? im trying to identify the big differences between them the older ones for cost. basically im turbo project if now getting finished at the machine shop and could to be built or soon hopefully. can you help me here??
