Engine swap ideas.

Hi there and greets from Latvia.

So I have ford sierra Xr4i with 2.8 engine. As you all know the 2.8 engines are old and don't have that much power and there's also a point that my engine died couple months ago . So maybe some advices about what kind of engine I could swap in ?
Cause this is not my daily car I could do some quite big modification.
I also have found out that I don't want Ford engine , because they all are quite the same (except YB , but that engine is too pricey for me) .


So if you have some I would be happy to hear them.
