Im back again guys, been collecting my parts was just wondering, can you also do this conversion on a 24v cosworth or is the compresion ratio to high?

second question is can you bolt a supercharger on to a 12v v6 (obvisously you can with a turbo), i imagine you'd have to get a custom intake to take the superchager, or does anyone know where you can buy one?

some information would be great!

The cosworth engine have a bit high compression, here in sweden we solve it by using ethanol. If you don´t have acces to that i recomend taking the engine apart and modify the pistosns to lower the compression

I ´really don´t like supercharger. Its a bad way to tune a engine. Turbo is the future

Supercharger is the future!
JK, but i think that the 12v will be OK with a Eaton charger to, but you will get great power loss compared to a turbo.

Pretty sure in the UK you cant get ethanol with out proving you are a member or a motorsport community and have a proven reason for it, so that isnt a option, and i agree turbo's are better for power gain etc but none seems to have tried supercharging a v6, apart from there is one thread on here,

i think im gonna go with a 12v rather than 24v a lot less complicated.

There is a reason that few try out supercharger. I guess you wil get 50-75bhp less than a good turbosetup

A good turbosetup don´t have much lag. You win on low revs but lose on high with supercharger

Its copy's or something whit out a brand... You can get a really good one but also one that is pretty much crap from the beginning. The thing whit china copy's are that they can look precisely as the original part on the out side but on the inside its totally different.

Compare the price to one manufactured by Garrett for example and you will understand that there most be some differences. Even if the fact that just the name Garrett on the turbo make it cost more.

And then i don´t think that the turbos you linked from Ebay is that cheap either.
But you can get a used one (not a copy) thats in good working condition for a similar price and to that one you can get bearings ect if it fails.

To me they looks a bit big but guess someone that know that better can tell more about it.

I agree with Henrik, that is copy of some kind. And a bit to large and propably slow response
