Ford Taunus MK3 (BMW M62 3.5 V8 engine) - Ukraine

Hello Skogenracing team,

I have stated to build this project about 2 month ago when a car was bought.
Ford is 1979 1.6 stock engine (which is already sold with transmission), 2 doors (yam-yam). Was in not bad condition and ... it was even running! So I have sold this pony engine and found new one. This is M62 3.5 V8 from BMW 535 e39 (year 2003). Also I found 5 step manual transmission for it from M60 3.0 V8. It could be 6-step from M60 4.0, but gears are too short and that is not good for US!

I have been inspired when found out your Taunus on youtube and that's why I'm here.
On this engine when it will start (I hope) will be about 240-245 hp only. I want to boost it and want to ask you - pro level guys. Is it possible to install turbo? .. better two of them...

I'll be appreciate for help in this question! If you have some email it will be easier to communicate and also, in result, maybe I could make some advertisement or PR of "you" in Ukraine

Cool projekt!

Turbo works fine, here i sweden there are som lunatics that has made over 700wheel hp on stock engines with a big turbo

Double turbo is not cool at all, i suggest a big single turbo, perhaps a Holset HX40 with 60mm inlet for around 500-600hp

Maybe you'r right, I'm really low in experience with turbo installation (boost). I need some one who can explain all this "yammi" things...
